Bigfoot Germanium EQ Fuzz
Inspired by the tones of classic cranked amplifiers from both sides of the Atlantic, we have created a truly unique fuzz pedal complete with a sweetly tuned three-band equaliser. It's the ultimate Swiss Army knife, capable of everything from deep smooth American tones, right through to screaming British bite.
This is the ultimate hot-rodded version of our critically acclaimed King Fuzz pedal. We started by re-voicing the original circuit around a beautiful gold-pin NOS germanium transistor. We’ve then made this glorious tone completely tweakable thanks to the addition of a specially designed tone-stack, which encompasses all the classic sounds of both British and American amps. Not only that, but this EQ is even switchable between pre and post fuzz, resulting in a totally immersive sound which covers every driven, distorted and fuzzed out tone you've ever dreamed of.
Housed in a custom enclosure and hand finished in genuine Ocean Turquoise Metallic nitrocellulose lacquer.
Unlike typical Germanium pedals, this one can be used with buffers, active pickups, and even wireless systems.
Controls
-Bass pot (top left) adjusts the amount of low frequencies.
-Middle pot (second from left) adjusts the amount of midrange frequencies.
-Treble pot (third from left) adjusts the amount of high frequencies.
-Pre/Post switch (third from right) selects between EQ before fuzz (left), and EQ after fuzz (right).
-Volume pot (second from right) sets the output level.
-Gain pot (top right) adjusts the amount of distortion.
-On/off footswitch (bottom middle) with true bypass wiring.
-On/off indicator LED (top middle).
