The Bigfoot Thunder Pup XL is a medium gain guitar pedal for classic British overdrive tones with a footswitchable clean boost.
How does it sound?
This pedal utilises the Big Amp mode from our standard model. It is inspired by the tones of Angus Young (AC/DC) and captures the classic Marshall Plexi 4x12 stack sound. It is a medium gain overdrive with cutting mids, powerful lows, and a gentle bite in the highs. The footswitchable clean boost provides a highly versatile 16dB push which is perfect for kicking your guitar up for solos, increasing your fatness, sustain, and volume.
Unique features
This pedal does not feature any EQ controls because the tone has been meticulously crafted to provide the perfect sweet spot every time. The character of any guitar will always shine through, retaining every nuance of your playing dynamics and reacting flawlessly to your guitar's volume controls. The addition of a clean boost makes this in incredibly versatile stompbox.

-Mono 1/4" input and output jack sockets (side-mounted).
-Industry standard 2.1mm centre negative power supply socket (top-mounted).
