Our passive guitar boost pedal.
The Bigfoot Trouble Booster Uno is a mini, passive booster pedal which preserves your guitar's natural tone.
How does it sound?
This pedal is designed to add some heat to your guitar's pickups. It works wonderfully at hitting the front of your amplifier harder, allowing you to keep your tone intact while increasing sustain, saturation, and harmonic overtones.
Unique features
This pedal doesn't require batteries or a power supply. It utilises transformer gain, much like a studio microphone preamp, resulting in a sonic warmth which doesn't compromise fidelity.
Applications
This is the perfect compact boost pedal for tone aficionados.
Controls
-Volume pot (top middle) sets the output level.
-On/off footswitch (bottom middle).
Connections
-Mono 1/4" input and output jack sockets (top-mounted).
Power requirements
No power required.
Signal chain placement
It must be connected after any buffered effects unit in order to operate.
Construction
All analogue, hand built in England UK.
Specification
-Length 112mm (4.41").
-Width 60mm (2.36").
-Height 27mm (1.06").
-Weight 0.22 kg (0.51 lbs).

Our flagship boost pedal (NOS Germanium).
The Bigfoot Trouble Booster is a germanium treble booster pedal with some unique modern features for unlocking many more great tones.
How does it sound?
This pedal has 2 settings: the Bright mode is inspired by the vintage Greg Fryer and Dallas Rangemaster treble boosters, capturing the classic Vox AC30 Top Boost and Brian May (Queen) sounds. The Normal mode provides a wealth of fatter overdriven tones inspired by Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top), packed full of rich harmonics.
Unique features
Although we still use hand picked NOS germanium transistors, we use negative ground wiring so you can integrate the pedal into modern pedalboards. It also features an invaluable Bright/Normal switch for toggling between the classic treble booster sound and a fuller, fatter tone.
Applications
This is the perfect tool for getting two distinct, very high quality dirty tones from one pedal.
Controls
-Volume pot (top left) sets the output level.
-Bright/Normal switch (top right) toggles between the classic treble booster tone and a natural, full-frequency sound.
-On/off footswitch (bottom right) is available with true bypass or buffered bypass wiring options.
-On/off indicator LED (top middle).
Connections
-Mono 1/4" input and output jack sockets (side-mounted).
-Industry standard 2.1mm centre negative power supply socket (top-mounted).
Power requirements
9vDC power supply or internally fitted PP3 battery. Current draw > 5mA.
Signal chain placement
Connect it first in the chain, directly to the guitar for optimum performance. Do not place it after a buffered effects unit or it will produce an overly bright sound.
Construction
All analogue, hand built in England UK.
Specification
-Length 119mm (4.69").
-Width 94mm (3.70").
-Height 30mm (1.18").
-Weight 0.31 kg (0.68 lbs).

Our deluxe boost pedal (NOS Germanium).
The Bigfoot Trouble Booster XL is a germanium treble booster pedal with some unique modern features for unlocking many more great tones.
How does it sound?
The pedal has 2 settings: the Bright mode is inspired by the vintage Greg Fryer and Dallas Rangemaster treble boosters, capturing the classic Vox AC30 Top Boost and Brian May (Queen) sounds. The Normal mode provides a wealth of fatter overdriven tones inspired by Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top), packed full of rich harmonics. The addition of a Gain pot unlocks a much wider palette of overdriven tones than ever before.
Unique features
Although we still use hand picked NOS germanium transistors, we use negative ground wiring so you can integrate the pedal into modern pedalboards. We also added a Gain control, turning the classic treble booster design into a far more flexible pedal with the ability to fine tune the amount of overdrive. It also features an invaluable Bright/Normal switch for toggling between the classic treble booster sound and a fuller, fatter tone.
Applications
